This document details how your personal data is handled when using the Grilio website (“Service”).

Types of Personal Data Collected

• IP Address: The Service always logs your IP address for security purposes.

The service provider encourages guardians of children under the age of 13 to monitor and/or otherwise stay aware of their online behavior and online service use. As per our Terms of Service, children under the age of 13 are not permitted to use the Service. The Service provider does not knowingly collect the personal data of children under the age of 13. If you are a guardian of a child under the age of 13 and suspect that their personal data may have been collected during provision of the Service, contact the data controller immediately.

Basis for the Collection of Personal Data

Legitimate interest to maintain and develop the Service, to communicate and to market the Service:

• Information collected through observing use of website (IP Address)
• The processing of personal data for the purposes of data security and to prevent and resolve possible misconduct (IP Address)

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

The controller uses third parties to process user data where necessary to provide the functionality of the Service. Data subjects are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the third-party processors’ respective privacy policies.

• The Service is deployed on cloud infrastructure provided by Appwrite and Netlify.

User data may be disclosed to additional third parties by the Service provider if demanded by legal responsibility.

Retention of Personal Data

• IP Address is retained for up to 7 days after the last time the data subject interacts with the Service

Rights Under the EU GDPR

The European Union General Data Protection Regulation grats the data subject the following rights:

• Right of access and right to rectification
• Right to data erasure
• Right to object to the processing of personal data if it is processed for other purposes than the fulfillment of legal responsibilities or the provision of services
• Right to restriction of processing
• Right to data portability
